Title of Work
Jonathan Meizler, a former partner in Jonvaldí Couture, worked with design firm RO New York to translate the visual language of the art world into the attractive packaging for Title of Work. Each tie is individually rolled in a canister, in a process similar to the one that happens when purchasing an art print. A label of authenticity (that includes the date of creation, materials used, and a symbolic ‘red dot’) is used to strengthen the connotations of creativity and craftsmanship associated with this alluring range of neck wear.
Passaggio Cravatte bespoke experience Part II
A few days ago I wrote about ordering a bespoke tie by Passaggio Cravatte, and I thought I’d share the end result with my readers. The result is beyond my expectations, I’d even go as far as saying that the tie is the most well-made tie that I have. The 7-fold construction is very solid, you can actually count all the folds, there are many companies who claim to have 7-fold ties when they are really not. Also, the tie is completely handmade which is a nice detail, if you look at the pictures above you’ll see the stitches that are beautifully imperfect.
A tie takes about 4-6 weeks to be made, I’m guessing that they have a lot of work and of course, you don’t wanna be in a rush when you create a luxurious tie. The pricing is pretty high, however if you compare the pricing with Drake’s and E.Marinella etc you’ll only have to pay like 20-30% more. You’ll have to pay at least 150€, probably more if you’re going for a 7-fold construction.
Overall I’m very happy with my purchase, for me it’s all about details and bespoke makes that possible, I’ll definitely be back for more.To make an order, simply contact Gianni by E-mail: cerutti.gianni@gmail.com

“The colour scheme evokes Highland autumnal splendour. It also evokes how much ass you probably get. Your game is tight, sir, just like The Bryce’s painstakingly woven plaid pattern, coloured a splendid Fuschia and injecting a lovely dose of colour into whatever scene you’re in. Wear it out to a cool lecture about biodiversity - or at least wear it out to a local watering hole and tell people that’s where you’re ultimately headed, or wear it to work on Wednesday/Humpday…whatever you do, don’t lend it to that jerk, Steven. He always ruins your stuff.”
