In defence of the suit
Why people do not like wearing suits is beyond me. It is quite possibly the easiest and most comfortable piece of men’s clothing that exists. A well-fitting suit is as comfortable, if not more, than those well-worn jeans and T-shirt that people appear to consider their “go to” clothes when dressing comfortably. Also, with suits you never have to worry about matching jacket and trousers, all you need is to pick a shirt, tie and pocket square (if you happen to use those) and you are done. It probably took me less than five minutes to get dressed this morning and that included a minute long search for a specific pocket square I knew I had but just couldn’t locate in my all too full PS drawer. So when you need something that is comfortable to wear, but that still have you looking smart and dapper - don a suit!
